Storq: “Family Meal”

Herbal Chai -

A recipe by Sydney Bliss. Sydney is an Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula, Mothers’ Chef, and founder of Milky Oat Postpartum Meal Delivery.

Ingredients:
2 allspice berries
2 cardamom pods
2 cloves
1/2 Inch knob of ginger, grated
2 TBSP red rooibos tea looseleaf or two tea bags (for Pregnancy)
2 TBSP tulsi tea looseleaf or two tea bags (for Postpartum)
10 oz filtered water
6 oz milk of choice
2 medjool dates

Method:
•Crush spices in mortar and pestle
•Toast spices in dry pan until fragrant 
•Add tea, ginger, and spices to boiling water on stovetop
•Mix and allow to steep for 45 seconds
•Add milk and bring back up to boil for 1-2 minutes
•Strain contents into blender, add pitted dates, and blend for 30 seconds on high
•Strain again into individual cups
•Enjoy!
